On Friday I went to work and participated in the promotion day festivities, which included breakfast at the office, lunch out and an afternoon celebration at Opera. (The picture below is the inside of Opera) I left the celebration a little early and came back home to hang out with my boys, Sven and Booker. We all relaxed for the rest of the evening by watching the opening ceremony of the 2008 Olympics.
Saturday Sven and I went to Einstein Bagels for breakfast and then headed to the grocery store. The first place we went was Whole Foods. They have an awesome produce section and lots of yummy cheeses, so we only picked up a few things from there. If we would have gotten everything on our list we probably would have spent three times the amount, as it is much more expensive than your typical grocery store. We then headed to Kroger to finish the rest of our food shopping. By the time we got home FOUR hours had passed, and we were both tired from our day of shopping. I think it is safe to say that we should NOT have to go food shopping for at least three weeks. Our frig and pantry are overflowing with food!Today we took Booker to the park down the road. We worked on his obedience training for a little while and then took him on a 2 mile walk. I think Sven and I are going to just hang around here for the rest of the day since we have LOTS of laundry to do and I want to watch the Olympics!

Hope everyone else had a good weekend!

So Betsy, what's for dinner?
ReplyDeleteThanks for keeping up your post and for the pictures. I have never heard of Opera until you mentioned it, maybe we'll have to go there sometime.
Booker is cute as ever it is great that you and Sven are training him and have the patience for it.
Love ya,
your mom xoxoxoxo
I heard that they have a Whole Foods around here and I wanted to check it out. Still haven't found it yet. Booker is so freakin cute.
