Shoes
I mentioned how I was in need of some new work shoes and was unable to find anything this past weekend that 1. I liked and 2. I was willing to pay the asking price. I'm not super picky when it comes to shoes...BUT...I will not spend a lot on them because I'm really hard on my shoes. Yesterday I was doing some Internet browsing while at work and I finally found some shoes that I liked and that weren't going to break the bank. I have never bought a pair of shoes from DSW before, but now I can longer make that claim. They will arriving in the next few days and I will have to show you them once they arrive.
As a side note, DSW allows you to use up to THREE discount codes at one time. I was able to use their free shipping on orders of $25 or more if you're a DSW member, it's free to sign up(BFRSHP), a $10 off discount code (DRIVE2) AND a $5 off discount code (LUVDSW). I always search for discount codes online before I buy anything because there is usually something always out there.

Weekend Recap
Unfortunately even though I was really hoping to have Saturday off, the amount of work that needed to be done at the office was too much. So Saturday I found myself getting up early and heading into the office. That night after work Sven and I had previously decided that we wanted to go see Taken. By the time we got to the movie theater the movie had already started and we couldn't find a parking space. (I wasn't the reason we were running late...SVEN) We both were discouraged and decided to come back the next day, since I had Sunday off. We ended up going back home and watching TV for the rest of the night.
Sunday I had a list a mile long of things that needed to be done. I knew I wasn't going to get everything done so I had to decide what was priority. First Sven and I hit up the outlets near our house. Priority, right? I really wanted to find some new shoes for work, but I couldn't find any that I liked. After only spending an hour at the outlets Sven and I headed to this place.
We recently joined, figuring that we could save a little money by buying in bulk. We ended up buying a lot of great things and were able to use many of the coupons they send out each month. Hopefully next month's coupons will be just as good as February's.
Afterwards we headed to the movies to see Taken, since we had missed it on Saturday. We both really enjoyed the movie and I highly recommend it to others.
Then on our way home we made a quick stop at the grocery store to pick up a few other items that we didn't want to buy in bulk, because it will likely spoil before we use it. By the time we got home it was after 6pm...I swear the time flies on my days off. I was so thankful to have the day off and was able to spend it with Sven. I'm already looking forward to next Sunday!

Where have you been?
These past few weeks have been extremely busy for me at work, to say the least. I have worked 150 hours in two weeks and have only had two days off in the last five weeks. I am really keeping my fingers crossed that I will have BOTH Saturday and Sunday off this weekend. I probably won't know for sure until tomorrow. So please keep your fingers crossed with me. I REALLY need the whole weekend off so that I can catch back up on life and relax before I burn out completely!

Super Sunday
Yesterday was a SUPER Sunday.
I slept in! Something I haven't been able to do in weeks.
I was able to clean our house, almost completely.
I was able to catch up on laundry, including folding it AND putting it away.
I was able to clean out our dressers and get rid of old clothing. Thank goodness because I thought Sven was going to break the dresser drawers with all of his old, ragged shirts.
I was able to organize our closet, by putting to use the containers I bought at IKEA last weekend.
I was able to make chili for the Super Bowl. Oh so good!
I was able to watch the Super Bowl. Whoo hoo!
I was able to watch the Steelers win the Super Bowl. Here we go, Steelers...here we go!
Yesterday was definitely a SUPER Sunday!
