A Visit

This past weekend some of our friends from college came to visit us. After they arrived Friday night we decided to order in pizza and catch up before going out. We hung out for a few hours before we decided it was time to head out to a local restaurant/bar, Marion Court. The weather was so nice that we were able to sit outside and chat for hours. We ended up leaving, since both of the boys were tired, and headed back home around midnight.

Saturday we all woke up to Sven cooking us breakfast. Afterwards the girls headed to the local Tanger Outlets for a day of shopping, while the boys headed to the golf course to play a round of 18. That evening we went to a BBQ that our friend Dave was having at his house. The girls ending up hanging out on the porch while all of the boys played corn hole. All in all I would say that it was a great weekend of nice weather and good company!

Inspired Look

Yesterday I was looking through my People Style Watch magazine when I came across a picture of Kristen Bell wearing an Epice scarf that I L-O-V-E-D. However, this scarf cost $207, which is about $200 more than I would spend on a scarf or any accessory. I figured that whenever I would go shopping next I would try to see if I came across something with a similar look.

Well, it just so happened that on my way home for work yesterday I decided I wanted to stop in at Old Navy. My intentions when going into the store were to see if they had any spring jackets. Awhile ago I was shopping in Old Navy when they had a red jacket that was 50% off. At the time I decided to not get it but am now regretting that decision. However, while browsing the aisles I did spot a scarf that closely resembled the look of the $207 scarf and was WAY more affordable. There was only one left, so I quickly snatched it up and left Old Navy a happy camper!
